Sober Living Program
We operate three sober living houses for men who want to leave their lives of alcohol and drug dependency behind them. It is a voluntary, faith-based program with group accountability at the core. Our houses are home to ten to twelve men at any given time. As the men strive together to live sober lives, we endeavor to give them vocational opportunities as well as responsibilities around the ministry to keep them busy, and aid their recovery and re-entry into sober living. The men attend Celebrate Recovery, small groups, bible study, and church services. They also volunteer in the food pantry and thrift store.
Food Pantry
Open 2 days a week, our food pantry is available to people of all races, religions, incomes, and zip codes. The only items we require are a photo ID and current proof of address. Recipients may come once every 30 days. We give bags of canned, frozen, and boxed goods each week, containing ingredients for a balanced diet. We currently serve about 425 families each month.
Hours are every Tuesday and Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Thrift Store
Shoppers may visit our thrift store Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00 pm. We offer very low prices on clothing, household goods, books, music and occasionally, furniture.
We gladly accept donations of gently used or new items, which may be dropped off during thrift store hours.
